My name is Adreanne Stephenson and I am a 2011 graduate from the College. With my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Mathematics, I am headed to Notre Dame Law School to receive my Juris Doctor. Every opportunity that William and Mary offered to me has led to this career choice and to my success thus far. From joining Mu Upsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated to studying abroad at the University of Exeter, from starting a praise dance group with a close friend to being an active member of the NAACP, from swimming on the synchronized swimming Green team to induction into the Order of Omega, William and Mary has taught me to follow my dreams however outlandish they may seem. The faculty and staff at William and Mary pushed me beyond my limits because they saw in me what I did not. I am proud to call myself a William and Mary graduate and I will miss it dearly.
On a lighter note, my favorite cartoon character is Stitch. Scrabble is the best game of all time–I own the Scrabble dictionary and the turntable Scrabble. Writing poetry is a favorite pastime and my works have appeared in many campus publications including Winged Nation and Jump. Finally, my favorite place in France was Versailles. With my blog, I hope to encourage your attendance, help you get in touch with the more personal side of William and Mary and inform you about some choices you have once you have graduated from this prestigious institution.
