Coloring Books and Dr. Seuss

I don’t know about you, but I miss elementary school. Life was a lot of fun when we got to color every day and read whatever books sounded like fun. But everyone has to grow up at some point…the good thing is that not everyone has to grow up all the way. I still keep a coloring book on my desk, I’m not trying to hide the fact that I’m still a kid at heart. So how does all of this relate to W&M? The library of course! My favorite thing about Swem (the library for those of you who are W&M neophytes) is….the children’s section! On days when I need to be at the library I like to settle down at a table by the window in the kid’s section. That way, when you are sitting there studying for your Molecular Genetics exam, you can easily reach over and pick up a Dr. Seuss book for a break. Don’t underestimate the stress relieving power of a little kid related fun! Besides, Dr. Seuss is one of the wisest authors in the world. If you don’t believe me, here is a quote to think about today:

“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You”
