One Week…

It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly 3 months since I left Williamsburg headed for Texas.  I think that my time out here has taught me so much in terms of my professional growth, my personal life, and what I want for a job come next year when I finally have to leave William and Mary.

But that’s just it.  This whole summer has taught me how hard it’s going to be to leave WM.  After 5 years, William and Mary has become my home.  It’s where I study, where I work, and where I play.

This summer I’ve found myself constantly trying to define what WM is like to people.  I really don’t think anyone can grasp how amazing a place it is until they go away.  My time in Texas has been nothing short of awesome, and it’s everything I could have wanted in my internship, and more.  But these words have never rung more true: There’s no place like home.

And I’ll be there in 7 days.
