I loved Lake Matoaka because of the two extremes that it provides for campus. Several times a semester organizations hold big concerts that draw huge crowds of students together for one event. But day-to-day, Matoaka is a quiet space for students to get away and even go out on the lake in a canoe and have some reflective time.
