Top Places to Study on Campus

Midterm season has arrived and the students of William and Mary hunker down in their favorite study spots on campus to pump out those mid-semester papers and late night cram sessions!  Students claim that choosing a spot to study is a very personal experience. Where you choose says a lot about the way you study and about the student you are. So I have put together a little study guide for you future William and Mary attendees that will help easy the pain of midterms and assist with the learning curve.

Swem Library – For the traditionalist. There are a wide variety of seating arrangements and various noise levels on the different floors.

The Daily Grind – For the music lover. You can get your coffee and a scone and enjoy some smooth Jazz or Classic Rock while you work.

Academic Buildings – For the academic minded. Many of the classrooms are available for you to spread out your books and take up a few seats.

The Wren Building – For the history buff. Study it up Thomas Jefferson style in one of the old classrooms in Wren with big windows and lots of sunshine!

Aromas – For the coffee craver. Just down Prince George Street you can find a comfy corner in the local café and escape from campus for a bit.

Sunken Gardens – For the sunbather. Catch some rays while you catch up on your class readings in the Sunken Gardens. Don’t forget to take some study breaks and toss around a Frisbee!

Happy Studying!
