MATh…EEEEE…Matics

This is for those brilliant people who want to major in mathematics (no offense to those other majors 🙂 ) and some tips for those who still have yet to fulfill GER 1 Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning!

1.      Go to your math teacher’s office hours a lot, especially if you don’t know what’s going on in class

2.      If in Calculus I, go to the FREE tutoring sessions because after Calc I, those help sessions don’t exist anymore

3.      Take a class with Professor Vinroot! He is an awesome teacher who knows how to break it all down minus the condescending tone plus a few jokes in between

4.      Do the homework…otherwise you may encounter an epic FAIL

5.      Do your notes in pretty colors! It will prevent you from falling asleep in class and it will help organize your notes.

6.      Why minor in mathematics when you can major and possibly make $40,000 more in your future career?

And remember MATH = FUN 🙂
