One month to go…

The Tribe is gearing up for the start to a new school year … we are down to only a month until the team is back in Williamsburg and ready for the 2011-2012 season! The Tribe gym girls have had a busy week. The freshman class girls have all been working on getting things together for their upcoming year at W&M, as they just found out their dorms last week and are now working on getting ready for class scheduling this week!  The rest of us cannot wait for them to be part of the Tribe this year!

This past weekend, I was able to take a short weekend trip down to Williamsburg in order to get furniture and decorations moved into my new apartment! I was able to show my best friend from home how beautiful the College is, and how great it is living down in Virginia! On the way down, I stopped to hang out with alumna Karla Bercaw and had a great time! Down at school, Lindsey came to visit and helped get everything settled into my new room. It made me realize how excited I am for the new school year to start, and how much I am anticipating starting another season with my amazing teammates!

As for the rest of the Tribe, summer has continued to be very eventful! Katie just started working at her gym, where she is coaching a lot of compulsory gymnastics. Jess will be heading over to the NC State Gymnastics Camp this week and to visit and practice there, where Mary will also be coaching for the week! Larson spent the weekend at Virginia Beach. Her roommate Lacy is gathering some things together before her weekend trip down to the College to get more of her belongings moved into their new apartment this upcoming weekend! I just recently saw a video of Maggie doing a triple full on floor, and it was amazing! She also just celebrated her 18th birthday over the weekend!
