Take the leap, join the Tribe!
So you are officially accepted into the Tribe – congratulations! The worse part of the transfer process is finally over for you. Take a deep breath and realize a major weight has been lifted off your shoulders now. It is no longer a guessing game of whether or not you will be accepted, now it is a matter of whether or not you want to transfer.
I wish I could give advice on how to decide if you want to transfer, but William & Mary was the only school I applied to as a transfer. Getting accepted was all the encouragement I needed! So instead I will give you one piece of advice on how to make the most of the transfer experience once you decide to become a member of the Tribe: You were accepted for a reason, so don’t question whether it was a mistake or whether you belong. Welcome home!
Whether or not you choose to come to William & Mary is ultimately up to you, and it’s a very personal choice. I can only say that I have made some of my favorite memories, and met some of the best people at this school, and it has been the best experience!
