Finally, Welcome Home
Transferring to William & Mary was one of the scariest, most rewarding experiences of my life, and last week you just started the first steps of that same journey – you were accepted to W&M! I can’t tell you what you’re feeling right now, but I hope you take some time to celebrate your accomplishment. This is your moment, so take some time to relish it.
If you’re still weighing your options, which is completely understandable, let me give you my extremely biased opinion: William & Mary is definitely, 100% the right choice. You won’t find our amazing community anywhere else, and we are ready to welcome you with open arms!
But if you really need help deciding, definitely reach out to one of the transfer interns. Join the Facebook page, come visit campus, send us an email. We have two admitted transfer student events coming up in the first two weeks of May, and yours truly is very excited to welcome you home!
Congratulations, transfers. Even if you’re starting to worry about the many possibilities of next year already, know that the worst part is over. This is when the fun starts, when you get to finally walk through the Wren building, stare out into the Sunken Garden full of people, and know that you’re home.
