Because You Only Live Once (JUMP!)

7:50: We park the car and run up the large sand dunes to try and catch the sunset. Ok, so maybe we walked up but it sounds so much cooler to envision us running. They’re tiring!

8:03pm: We finally make it to the top. Kelley pretends to be in the scorching desert begging for water. People give us strange looks.

8:04-8:20pm: We do a series of jumping photos (at least we try to) and we garner our own audience. “That was a good one!” they shout as we take the last shot.

8:22pm: We run down the sand dunes trying not to tumble over small children or make complete fools of ourselves.

8:22 and 20 seconds: Kelley realizes she left her sandals at the top of the large dune. She would.

8:25pm: We slide into the car, sandy feet and all and head to Sam and Omies for dinner. Greg sticks his head out of the car like a dog sniffing the wind. Gosh, it’s good to be down here.
