Hi there, welcome to my blog! I was a student at William & Mary from 2008 to 2011. During my time there, I double-majored in environmental science and a self-designed major in food systems and health.
I led a service trip to China, studied abroad in Australia, and like many students at William & Mary, really grew to love serving my community and others. I also assisted in research labs, taught classes, produced independent research projects with faculty mentors, and collaborated with professors on sustainability initiatives. Importantly, I made forever friends and had a lot of fun, something I hope this blog conveys.
After college, I moved to Baltimore to pursue graduate training in public health and clinical nutrition at Johns Hopkins. Now, I live in DC, where my path has led me to a career in translating research into federal health policy. Thanks for stopping by!
