Just Another Afternoon…

I saw a guy reading in a hammock strung high up in the trees in the sunken gardens. It was 85 degrees outside and there was a slight breeze. I had just gotten out of my English seminar in naturalism and was walking out of Tyler when I looked up and saw the blue hammock swinging.
The guy was reading a book and was barefoot. The students that passed by looked up for a brief moment and then looked back down…just a typical afternoon on campus.
