Quick Waitlist Update
We Admit It! It’s time for another update regarding the waitlists (both freshman and transfer). This is essentially a quick snap-shot of where things stand at this very moment. Remember that every student on either waitlist will get a formal update from us in mid-June.
Freshman waitlist: The freshman waitlist is still active. Certainly our waitlist activity has slowed as May ended and the class became closer to finalized. However, we are still making offers of admission to students as spaces become available. We continue to monitor our entering class each day to determine whether or not we can make additional offers. We are only contacting those students who indicated they wished to remain on the waitlist in response to an email we sent on May 11. We will call and email any student who we wish to make an offer to.
Transfer waitlist: Our incoming cohort of transfer students is currently looking strong following some initial waitlist offers that were made in mid-May. As with freshmen, we continue to keep an eye on the transfer cohort each day and will make additional offers if space becomes available.
Once the update goes out to all students remaining on the waitlist later this month we will provide our next waitlist status update.

Hello,
I am a student still on the waitlist and I was wondering if the fact that I would need financial aid would hurt my chances of being offered a spot for admission if any more should be offered for the freshman waitlist. Thanks!
@A, whether or not a student has financial need does not impact whether or not they are competitive for admission. It is important for waitlisted students to know however that financial aid can be limited, especially for out-of-state students. Generally we are able to meet the demonstrated need for in-state students on the waitlist but that is unfortunately not the case for out-of-state students (and all scholarships are awarded during the regular process).
Hello,
As a student still on the transfer waitlist, I was wondering when the transfer waitlist will be made final?
@N, we will update students on the transfer waitlist in the coming weeks.
