It’s Live!!!!
We Admit It! We get pretty excited about August 1 around here. Why? Because it’s the day the Common Application goes live. The 2012-2013 application cycle is officially upon us. Come one, come all. Freshmen, transfers lend us your transcripts (and your recommendations, essays, etc., etc., etc.).
Everything you need is available through the Common Application’s website. A full list of application requirements for both freshmen and transfers can be found online as can a list of important application-related dates and deadlines. The William & Mary Supplement to the Common Application for both freshman and transfer applicants is in progress and we will keep you posted on its status. You must complete and submit the Supplement in order to have your application reviewed. Optional components include a fine arts supplement (applicable to both freshman and transfer applicants), additional standardized testing such as AP/IB scores and SAT Subject Tests (applicable to both freshman and transfer applicants), responding to the optional additional submission on the Supplement (for freshman applicants only – although transfers should note that there is an additional requested essay on the W&M Transfer Supplement) and an on-campus interview (open to freshman applicants only).
So, go forth and apply. Nothing is stopping you now.
Here’s to another application cycle!

From a member of the incoming class of 2016, good luck to all future applicants! The application process can be very stressful, but rewarding when you watch all of the acceptance letters come in throughout the spring (or winter if you go early decision). Have a fun senior year and I hope to see many of you at W&M next year!
Hi everyone, the Supplements (freshman and transfer) will be available online as of September 1.
