Driving the Airport Shuttle

So today I volunteered to drive two runs of the Student Assembly sponsored free airport shuttle.  It is always interesting bumping into the random people on the shuttle that you haven’t seen in a while. I had the chance to catch up with someone I had a class with 2 years ago.

She was headed to Panama to finalize her plans to work at a lodge doing research there after graduation. It was nice to catch up with someone that I hadn’t seen in a long time. That is kind of the magic of William and Mary, small enough to feel like a tight community, but big enough that you aren’t always bumping into the same people.

Driving everyone to the airport also made me excited for my service trip to Honduras. I will be heading out tomorrow morning! It will be such a relief to escape the treachery of midterms, classes, and papers and get another perspective on life. TGIF and spring break!
