A Panel for Students by Students
We Admit It! It can be difficult to come to campus to ask a student about “the student perspective.” You want to know about the experiences of our students and you want to know it from an actual student. Many high school students just don’t have the time to visit campus and ask their questions about student life, William & Mary’s class size, and the campus environment.
So on Monday, November 5 we held a live W&M Student Panel, including a live chat, streamed from our YouTube Channel. The live chat allowed prospective students to ask questions directly to the W&M students. It was a great success! We were so excited to see our W&M panelists have fun answering the questions pop up in the live chat and allow those questions you had be answered. The panelists shared their experiences and their feelings about William & Mary’s community, campus involvement, our professors, and even dining options around campus (especially the new Chick-fil-A)!
We know not all questions can be answered in 49 minutes and 10 seconds, but we hope this opportunity gave some insight into our students’ perspectives and their experiences at William & Mary.
Thank you to all of the participants, including you! For those unable to watch the panel live, you are welcome to view the video and chat on YouTube. We hope you join us for our next exciting opportunity. Go Tribe!
All the best,
Caroline Ward
Assistant Dean of Admission
