Holiday time!

Hey all, I hope everyone enjoyed a safe and wonderful Fourth of July weekend! Many of the Tribe gymnasts took a break from their busy schedules to enjoy a fun-filled holiday. First session of summer school wrapped up its last week on Friday, and Kristin, Taryn, Teenie, and I are all excited to enjoy the rest of our summers vacationing and at our respective homes!

A bunch of the girls headed up to Boston to spend the holiday weekend with teammates and alumni. Jenny went to visit a friend, and fellow Tribe athlete, from her freshman hall up in Northern Virginia, and Teenie traveled back to Jacksonville to spend the 4th with her family. I came home to Maryland to celebrate my parents’ vow renewal, celebrating 25 wonderful years of marriage, and an eventful July 4th with a bunch of my extended family. It was a great time!

All of the girls continue to get into the gym to keep up with skills, and those who were injured are working hard to get their skills back. Many of us are taking advantage of cross fit programs and cycling classes to keep up with our cardio and conditioning, while we still enjoy some summer fun!
