The Waiting Period
For those of you who just submitted your transfer applications for the spring semester, congratulations! Now, all you have to do is wait. I know, this is harder than it sounds… waiting isn’t fun. But take this time to relax! You’ve completed your application and the hardest part is over.
The best advice I can give is to try your best not to get stressed during this waiting period. Also, take this time to enjoy the end of the semester at your current school! I know it can be tough not knowing if this will be your last semester there, but why not make the most of it either way? If you focus on that, decisions will be here before you know it.
Also, take a look at W&M’s website or reach out to current students – here, or at any other schools you may have applied to. Then, once decisions come out, you’ll be even better prepared to make the choice that’s right for you.
I can’t believe it has already been three years since I went through the spring transfer application process. The wait can be nerve-wracking and stressful, but I promise William & Mary is worth the wait.
Again, congratulations on finishing your applications and I wish you all the best of luck! As always, feel free to reach out to me or the Office of Admission with any questions you may have!
