Autumn falls upon Williamsburg
Friends from out of state always tell me how much they enjoy the dynamic seasonal changes in Williamsburg, and I’d say I’d have to agree. There’s nothing quite like it when the temp drops down to sweater weather and you get to break out your favorite flannel that’s been under your bed since August, begging to be worn. That’s what this week has been like here.
There’s something really quaint about William & Mary this time of year. People just find themselves doing cozy, lovely things like having a cup of coffee at Aroma’s in the middle of the day to beat the post-class chills. People are sitting on their front porches on Griffin Avenue wrapped in blankets, just relaxing with friends. People are reading in front of a fireplace at the new Mason School of Business. When I see things like this, happiness abounds, and I remember how glad I am to be a student here.
