My William and Mary Life
It’s really hard to that believe three years have already gone by since I first arrived at William and Mary. With so much to do at this college, I have found that I have picked up new activities and group every year. Here are some of my favorite things that I do on campus:
Admissions Employee: Throughout the school year I work in the admissions office, assisting the dean staff and greeting visitors.
Tourguide: Along with a group of about sixty students, I volunteer as a tourguide on campus. As a guide, our job is to greet prospective students and parents and give them the “student view” of our beautiful school. I usually give one tour a week and it’s always a great time, getting a break from classes and a chance to meet new and exciting people!
Kappa Kappa Gamma: One of the activities that has allowed me to make some of the best memories and form amazing friendships has been my involvement in my social sorority. William and Mary’s Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter consist of about ninety talented women who dedicate time to building relationships, acting as role models, and contributing to philanthropic initiatives.
Cleftomaniacs!:
The cleftos are a co-ed A Cappella group at William and Mary. We are made up of eight men and eight women who get together twice a week to practice songs in our repertoire, prepare for concerts, and have a great time! We usually sing many concerts a semester both on and off campus as well as traveling to different schools to meet and sing with other a cappella groups. This is one favorite organizations that I am a part of!
