I chose to have my picture taken near the sundial because it represented the center of new campus and all of the really-cool, state-of-the-art scientific research that was being completed by students in the surrounding buildings. I liked how paths from all of the buildings converged on the sundial which in my mind symbolized how students from all different fields of study collaborated to hopefully succeed in changing the world.
