Four Days and Counting

Four days and counting.   Campus is gearing up for the Class of 2012 to arrive.

Twenty years ago, I enrolled at William and Mary – ready to take on the challenges the world had to offer.  I distinctly remember my mother trying to get my room organized and my father trying his best to hurry my mother along.  A part of me was anxious, while other parts were cocky and confident that I was at William and Mary.    It had been one of the most competitive years yet, if I remember correctly.  (Or at least that is what they told us).   Little did I know, that twenty years later I would have a major hand in shaping the student body at William and Mary.

I am so happy to be part of history in the making.  This is quite an accomplished group.

I can’t wait to greet them on Friday.
