Favorite Spot
My favorite spot would have to be the formal entrance to the Sunken Garden. It is where I decided that I wanted to go to William & Mary in 7th grade. We were taking a field trip to Williamsburg, and I had some free time to travel around campus. As I was exploring, I came across this spot and decided to take a closer look. I stood at the center of this entry way, and before me was the entire campus to myself. No one was on the Sunken Garden and it was a beautiful day with no clouds in the sky. I stopped and stared at the sight before me, and I instantly felt the feeling that I belonged here. That is when I knew I wanted to go here and that I would not be happy anywhere else. I only applied here, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
