Fourth of July Approaches

Melissa CreamAs for this week in Tribe gymnastics, the girls in Williamsburg are finishing up their last week of summer school and most likely acing all of their finals! Senior Karla Bercaw has her final acting presentations, which she will definitely be successful in. Dina McNaughton is working on rudys on floor, while Taryn Saunders is working an exciting new full twisting bar dismount. Sophomore Jenny Ware is just getting back from a fun-filled vacation in South Carolina and is getting back in the gym and starting to vault again. Jenny has a powerful vault, and I am so excited to see her compete this year!

Furthermore, freshman Jess Pritchard is working hard in the gym even with the busy task of packing all of her stuff into boxes as she and her family prepare to move from Pittsburgh to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Larson Lasek, also a freshman, is working out at her gym and making some money coaching at her gym as well. She just came back from a relaxing trip with her friends to Myrtle Beach and also just celebrated her 18th birthday! Happy Birthday, Larson! As the fourth of July approaches, some of the Tribe gymnasts, including myself, are getting ready to head to Boston for the weekend to celebrate the holiday and visit Dina and some of our alumni! It will be great to reunite with each other and spend the weekend together.
