Meet the Transfer Interns – Casey!

Casey NearyHey! I’m Casey, a junior, history and film and media studies double major, and general W&M enthusiast here at the university. I transferred to W&M spring 2014 and have been living a life filled with love for this school and this community ever since. Much of my time on campus is committed to writing for our humor magazine, The Pillory, and working at the Office of Conference & Event Services, but my involvement on campus is not limited to my resume! Campus is always buzzing, from big events like AMP sponsored concerts to everyday things like seeing friends on the terrace.

It’s easy to feel yourself becoming a part of this community, and that is exactly what makes W&M near and dear to my heart. Our inclusive and caring environment goes beyond the feel of a college campus. It is a group of people that both supports and challenges you. This unique combination is what gives W&M the comforting and familiar feeling of family, and ultimately the reason why I love it here.

I would love to answer any questions you may have, so please do not hesitate to contact me!
