Mornings

I’m back in the office after an awesome three day weekend, which included trips to the beach, the pool, and to see friends. I’m still running into people that I didn’t realize were in Williamsburg for the summer. There are so many people here that it’s pretty evident how much students love this campus and can’t bear to be away (I know I’m one of them).

As I sit in our interviewer basement on this fine Monday morning, I’m reminded of other early mornings I’ve had at William & Mary. One great thing about being in college is that you have control over your schedule, and you [usually] decide when your classes will be. I made the decision my freshman year to take an 8:00am class, which turned out to not be such a good idea for me. I made it to every class, but I realized that I’m just not a morning person and tried my best not to take another class that early (even though some classes I needed were only offered at 8am). My advice when picking classes would definitely be to figure out what you think will work best for you. If you happen to be a morning person, go for those 8ams. I think I will stick with my later classes…
