Sunday Movies on Prince George Street

Sundays all too often become the dreary day when you must begin to face the coming week, but CW is offering a refreshing option for your Sunday evenings. Now you can unwind with friends or a date to catch an outdoor evening flick with Movies on Prince George Street.

Businesses of Merchant Square have collaborated with the City of Williamsburg to offer free movies to the community at the top of Prince George St (in front of Aroma’s). Every Sunday night around dusk, so 8:30ish, Prince George Street is transformed into a community “Screen on the Green,” with a giant inflatable screen and phenomenal sound nestled in charming CW.

Here are the films scheduled for the summer evening treat, all beginning around 8:30 p.m. Sunday evenings.

July 6: Hairspray

July 13: Batman

July 20: A Night at the Opera – The Marx Brothers

July 27: Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix

August 3: Spiderman 2

August 10: When Harry Met Sally

August 17: The Pink Panther

August 24: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

August 31: Amadeus

Bring a couple blankets, some Retro’s limeade and enjoy the movies. We hope to see you all there!
