Why I Love This School

There is no doubt that the college search process can be daunting!  I can clearly remember how overwhelmed I felt as a high school student when I began looking at schools!  But something clicked immediately when I came to visit the William and Mary campus for the first time.  Maybe it was the inviting dean staff in the admissions office, my energetic tourguide who made me want to move to campus immediately, or the overall beauty of the college, but after that visit I knew that this was the place I had to go to school.

Now as I go into my senior year, I can honestly say I would make the same decision if I had to do it all over again.  There is no other place I could imagine spending my college years.  Not only is William and Mary a rewarding, challenging, academic experience it is a community of people that never cease to impress me with their intelligence, involvement, and kindness.  It’s the mid-day walks by the sunken gardens with a classmate and the late-night study sessions with coffee and best friends that create the William and Mary experience.  It’s all the little daily events of this school that make it unlike any other college.  The people here are truly amazing and I am so proud to be a part of this growing community.
