My Day for Admitted Students Experience

April 14, 2007, I came to William and Mary for my Day for Admitted Students. I hadn’t chosen yet where I wanted to attend college so that day had a big effect on my decision.

I arrived at the College with my parents, in the rain, and without an umbrella. We parked and entered a big building. As I sat down with my parents and looked around I was very nervous, I didn’t know anyone and I didn’t know what to think. As the day got started, I realized that everyone at this school was very enthusiastic. I also noticed that the school had a nice group of cute boys who could sing really well, photo attached. (Also don’t worry, there will be cute boys singing this year too.)

It wasn’t until I attended the interest meeting for International Relations majors until I could see myself as a student at the college. I then went on my first tour of the school and fell even more in love with not only the campus but my tour guide and his amazing personality.

At the end of the day I asked my dad to write my deposit check and made sure to turn it in, in person.

Come to William and Mary with an open mind and let everything sink in. I promise you that your Day for Admitted Students will really sink in.
