Time Out for Transfers is Back

We Admit It!  We took a little time out from the Time Out for Transfers Blog series over the summer, but it’s a new year and there are new blogs to be written.  We promise we didn’t forget about transfers, and here’s the proof.

Just like we take a time out for transfers in the Admit It! Blog, we also take a time out for transfers in our campus visit program.  Throughout the academic year, we host five Prospective Transfer Days.  These half-day programs are designed specifically for transfers.  Held on Friday afternoons in September, October, November, January and February, these days are designed to help you learn more about transferring to W&M and deciding whether W&M is the right next and final step for you.

The day consists of a tour, a transfer information session, a student/faculty panel and optional opportunities to meet with departments and eat lunch on campus with current transfer students.  They’re about answering your questions and addressing your needs.  We know the transfer process isn’t an easy one, but we know it becomes less complicated when you’re armed with all the information you need to make the right decision.

So we invite you to campus to learn more about W&M and the transfer process.  We hope you like what you see.
