Tag Team

Monday was the first day that we started giving information sessions with our student interns.  Now I am one to think that my normal information session is the best 30 minutes of your life and will tell families this before they enter my session, but I kindly accepted this idea of letting the students participate.  I was the first dean staff member to try it out and I think they both went really well.  It was a little challenging not talking the entire time, and trying to leave the personal anecdotes to the students, but the students and their families seemed to be very receptive to the new style of session.  Of course, they have nothing to compare it to, but I think the tag team session worked out pretty well.  At first things were a little weird in trying to incorporate how and when students would add their stories and experiences, but I have no doubt that by the end of these next couple weeks, we will have them down to a science.
