Still Going…
Admit It! With each passing day you get more and more anxious to hear from us about your application status. Just a quick update to that effect. We estimate that we have approximately 2,500-3,000 applications still to download from Common Application (or in the case of paper applications enter into our system) and about 5,000 applications still to complete. That means about 2,500-3,000 applicants still have not received any communication from us regarding their W&M application, and 5,000 students have received an initial email but not a follow-up.
While technology is great, it’s also complex. A lot has to happen for us to download your Common App into our system and for us then to match it with your other application materials. This process can take numerous weeks, and we sincerely appreciate your patience. We download and complete new files every day and we won’t stop (neither will our copier or stapler) until we’ve done everything in our power to complete every single application we’ve received.
Just continue to check your in-box. An update from W&M will make its way there.
