It’s the Final Waitlist Update – For Freshmen

We Admit It!  The waitlist process is coming to a close.  Yesterday, we sent an email to all students remaining on the freshman waitlist letting them know that as of today, our incoming class is full.  While we do not anticipate making additional admission offers, the possibility does exist that space may become available.  All students who are interested in remaining on the waitlist should that possibility arise are asked to complete an online form (linked in the email).  If we are able to make additional offers we will only consider those students who completed that form.  Any additional offers would be made before August 1.

As we believe our incoming class to be set, we will not send any further updates to those on the waitlist.  Likewise, we will not post any additional blogs.  For those students who remain sincerely interested in W&M, you can of course consider applying as a transfer applicant as early as this fall (November 1 application deadline for January 2016 enrollment).  Our Director of Transfer Admission as well as any of us in the office would be happy to provide you more information on that process.

To all those who have taken this journey with us, we thank you for your time, your efforts and for sharing your stories with us.  Regardless of where you enroll next fall, we wish you nothing but the best for the incredible journey on which you are about to embark.  W&M Class of 2020, you’re on deck.
