Afternoon Cider!

Hey everyone!

I wasn’t able to give a tour today because we had a lot more guides than visitors (come visit us!) but instead, I’m heading down to Colonial Williamsburg with my fellow tour guide Joey to grab some hot cider. CW (as WM students call Colonial Williamsburg) is a great place to take walks, grab food, and really relax, especially on beautiful days like today. CW has taken steps to make sure WM students feel at home in the area. One of these steps is to sell free refill mugs. Basically the first time you go down, you can buy a huge mug for $10 and get it filled with cider, hot chocolate, coffee, or soda. After that, everytime you bring it back they will fill it up for free. I spend time walking down to CW with all sorts of friends. So many people on campus have the mugs that its a great way to catch up or just enjoy an afternoon. It’s also really fun to watch the tourists exploring CW, a great area that we get to enjoy daily!

Well, I’m off to get cider! Make sure when you come visit us that you stroll through CW and grab a glass of cider with your family. You’ll probably see me around down there!
