About Kathryn Darling

The summer before high school, I went to a camp at William & Mary and decided that the College of Knowledge was where I wanted to go. That vision became then too familiar to be exciting as I got older, and I attended a different institution for my freshman and sophomore years. Yet I think my younger self knew what she was doing, because two years later I transferred to William & Mary and have never once regretted that choice.

William & Mary allowed me to grow in ways I never could have otherwise,
intellectually, personally, in leaps and bounds and a stumble or two. My
professors pushed my boundaries and my friends kept me sane, and it all
went by far too quickly. I graduated in May 2016 with an English degree and an honors thesis under my belt on "The Last Man" by Mary Shelley, author of "Frankenstein." I am currently living in my native Northern Virginia and interning at Kiddar Capital as their Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
