About Katie Kellenberger

After graduating in 2016 with a B.A. in Sociology and Government, Katie moved to D.C. to begin her post-undergrad life. Though she intends on heading to grad school in a few years, Katie is enjoying working as a journalist at a small trade publication and day dreaming about the day she gets to meet Anderson Cooper.

While at William & Mary, she was in the Intonations a capella group, part of Pi Beta Phi and wrote for the Flat Hat. During the summer between her sophomore and junior years, Katie took part in the D.C. Summer Institute for New Media (where she got this rad writing gig) and would eventually make her way back to the Washington Center during her senior year for the Winter Seminar program.

In the summer of 2015, she fulfilled her dream of studying abroad by going to Goa, India, and loved every second of it. Katie hopes you enjoy her blog posts as much as she enjoys writing them!
