About Alisan VanFleet

I spent three years frolicking between Blair Hall and Morton Hall getting my Government and History majors out of the way. Before I ventured south on I-95 and crossed the Mason-Dixon line, I spent my time in a small town in Pennsylvania where I grew up in a very Brady-Bunch-like family of three boys and three girls.

I spent a semester abroad at St Andrews University in Scotland. It was absolutely fantastic and solidified my not-so-secret wish to live life as a Disney Princess or a heroine in a Jane Austen novel. But when I was at W&M I spent time giving tours, singing in an a cappella group, writing for the student newspaper, volunteering at a local elementary school, looking at the stars at Lake Matoaka and finding a million other ways to avoid studying at Swem.
