Squirrels at William and Mary

Today, I saw a squirrel fall from the sky, no joke.

I was standing outside of Tyler Hall, talking to my dad on the phone. As I was hanging up the phone I saw something fall and heard a loud thud. I look to the ground and I saw a squirrel. It was still. It didn’t move. I was certain it had died.

Literally 5 seconds later it hops up and starts running way. It proceeded to climb the wall again. I did not know that a squirrel could fall 3 stories and survive.

Something you need to know about William and Mary before you get here, our squirrels are amazing. They aren’t scared of humans, will eat anything, and will attack you if necessary.

At least now you know, squirrels have nine lives.
