DIzzle???

You may be wondering where the name Dizzle came from.  Well, if not you are in for a great story anyway.  My freshman year was the year that people starting saying everything with an “izzle” at the end.  (Fo’ shizzle for example)  So my friends started calling me Randizzle.  (Randy + izzle = Randizzle).  I guess that became to much to say, so instead of saying my actual name (2 syllables), they shortened my nickname to Dizzle (also 2 syllables).  From that point on I have been known as Dizzle.  So when I graduated and started working as Asst. Dean of Admission, of course they did not want to start calling me Dean Tripp, so I was then (and still) known as Dean Dizzle.  Alliteration goes a long way, I guess.  Therefore I feel the title of my page (Dizzle’s Den) is appropriate not only because of the alliteration, but also because I am a Leo and lions live in a den.  I could call it Dean Dizzle’s Den, but that is too many D’s for me.
